Privacy Policy

What we process

When you create or use a Music4Office account, we may process your email address, account identifier, account plan (FREE / PLUS), registration and confirmation timestamps, last account activity, subscription status, cloud playlist records, security and audit records, and information necessary to provide support. Payment information will be processed when paid plans are connected; Music4Office does not need to store full payment-card details.

Why we process it

Account and service data are processed to create and operate your account, provide the Music4Office service, authenticate you, apply FREE / PLUS access, save cloud features, provide support, maintain security and prevent misuse. Where applicable, transaction and accounting information may also be processed to comply with legal obligations.

Legal bases

Data necessary to create and operate your account is processed primarily because it is necessary to provide the requested service and perform the contract or steps requested before entering into it. Data required by tax, accounting or other law is processed to comply with legal obligations. Limited technical or security information may be processed for legitimate interests in protecting the service, users and systems.

Service providers

Music4Office currently uses service providers including Supabase for authentication and database services, Vercel for web application hosting and deployment, and FORPSI for domain, email and related hosting services. If Stripe is activated for paid subscriptions, Stripe will process payment-related information under its own services and applicable data-processing terms.

Retention

Active account information is generally kept while your account exists and as long as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, the active account and linked cloud data are removed from the operational database, subject to technical backup, log, security, accounting or legal retention requirements. Registration-attempt records used for operational diagnostics are automatically pruned after 90 days.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access your personal data, obtain correction of inaccurate data, request erasure or restriction, object to certain processing, receive relevant data in a portable form where applicable, and lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. Requests can be sent to contact@music4office.cz.

Account deletion

A signed-in user can use ACCOUNT → DELETE MY ACCOUNT. This removes the active Music4Office Auth account and linked cloud records. Some information may still need to be retained where required by law or in limited technical/security records.

Security

Music4Office uses authenticated access, role-based access controls, database row-level security and protected administrator operations. No system can guarantee absolute security, but access to personal data is intended to be limited to what is necessary for operation and support.

Cookies and local storage

Music4Office may use browser storage required for account sessions, user preferences, playback state and local features. Non-essential analytics or advertising technologies should be documented and, where legally required, activated only with the appropriate user choice before public launch.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the service, providers or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page.

Terms of Use

Service

Music4Office is a music service designed for focused listening. Features may differ between FREE and PLUS accounts. Some features described as planned, beta or test features may change before commercial launch.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity performed through your account. You must provide a valid email address and must not attempt to misuse, disrupt or bypass access controls of the service.

FREE and PLUS

FREE access may include limits on available playlists, favourites or other features. PLUS access may unlock additional features. Until paid billing is publicly activated, PLUS access may be assigned manually to testers and may not have a commercial expiration date.

Payments

Paid subscriptions are not considered active until the payment flow is connected and the applicable price, billing period, cancellation terms and refund terms are shown before purchase.

Music and permitted use

A Music4Office account is intended for one individual user. The user may play Music4Office directly from their computer, phone or other personal device, including through locally connected speakers.

Incidental listening by other people in the same room or office is permitted when Music4Office is played directly from the licensed user’s device.

Music4Office may not be used for radio or television broadcasting, public or third-party streaming, retransmission or redistribution. It may not be connected to public-address systems, building-wide audio systems, radio systems, broadcast systems, central distributed-audio systems or other infrastructure intended to distribute audio to multiple rooms, areas or audiences.

The service, access to the service and Music4Office audio may not be resold, sublicensed, redistributed or incorporated into another media, audio or streaming service.

The Music4Office catalogue and website are protected content. Access to the service does not transfer ownership of music, recordings, software, branding or other content. Users may not copy, scrape or make the catalogue available as a substitute music library.

Availability

The service may be updated, interrupted or changed for maintenance, security or product development. Music4Office does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of every track or feature at all times.

Account termination

You may delete your account using the ACCOUNT section. Music4Office may restrict or terminate accounts used for abuse, fraud, security attacks or material violations of these terms.

Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
